Haven't seen John [Herp?] or Bud Nicola for quite some time now but I think John is either home or well on the way. Bud was in to see me about two weeks ago and thats the last I've seen of him. It will certainly by a swell day when I can plant my carcess in the city limits of Wash. And I thank God for all he has done for me since I've been over here. And there are probably a lot more boys who will bare me out on that too. See you in the near future. Yo pal, Bill. [Sgt. Bill Arnold]
