sun on the porch all the time. There are about 250 of us here and I wish wish I had a baseball or football with which to pass away the time. I'll probably be out of here by the time you get this -- hope so anyway. For this doing nothing is what I don't like. We get up about 8:30 in the morning and breakfast about nine. The measles are going in on me, so I hope it won't be long now till I get back to camp. They keep them here for from eight to eleven days. This is my fourth day. No one is very sick. I was in such good health when I got them that I hardly noticed them at all. Wednesday, my temperature was 100° and I had a little sore throat but feel practically all right now. The rest of my squad are out to the contact camp which is just across the road south from the hospital. I have talked to them several times. We buy things across the road from them. I've bought lots of milk instead of eating so much at the mess hall. Also lots of apples to keep my bowels in good shape. I'd have written sooner only I didn't bring any
