were supposed to wrestle I was up against a big blacksmith, Dick Murphy, who outweighed me at least thirty pounds. I flopped him the first time but he got me the next. Twice was all we wrestled. From now on we have to drill eight hours every day instead of four. So we won't have so much leisure time now. A whole lot of conscripts arrived here today and 550 of them will be assigned to our battalion. Each Company will then have 250 enlisted men. Our battalion heads the list in liberty bonds having about $55,000 subscribed. Did I tell you I took out a $50 bond. Recieved the Advance today and I believe I read every word of it, too. Tues night. Well supper and retreat are over and I'm going to write some and then go over to the movies at the Y.M.C.A. They have shows every Tues, Thurs, and Sat evenings and other things on the remainder of the evenings. So that there is something doing over there every night. We dug trenches again this morning, and this afternoon went thru some more physical exercises the same as yesterday pm. We had word tonight that the 126th machine gun Bn is going to leave soon. Supposedly for France. There's
