Saving...
a while, and then later about not needing so much sweet things. As you may recall, my gentle hints were misconstrued! Anyway, I hope we understand each other now. I'll be delighted to get anything you send but just relax and send things only when you want to and it isn't a nuisance. Jay loved your letter about our needing a spanking. She just can't tell her father that salami once a week isn't wise. How nice about your service pin. I thought they were very lucky when you started helping them, and I'm glad they appreciate you. We'll wear our ribbons, etc to Legion conventions, won't we? I have an ETO ribbon so far, you know. The I. C. girl is Elaine HERVERT. Dora wrote me an answer to mine of last summer, I guess. She looked up my hospital through army information. She's a physiotherapist like Polly. The Cotswold are a hilly district with houses & fences of grey slate, very picturesque & old. No, we haven't gone yet. Tomorrow night I'm going with Col Dyke to a play at Stratford "As You Like It". It should be quite a treat.
