Saving...
anywhere else to an APO to mail then. I'm to get my leave, I guess from the 25th to Oct 2nd inclusive. I'm going to London Sunday and then up to Glasgow Monday and stay overnight there before taking the train to Gourock & boat to Hunter's Quay. I've written Maureen to expect me and hope it will come off after all this time. I had a nice letter from Jimmy Galbraith in France, or did I tell you? I enjoyed the Iowans in the package, too. I have a bunch of London papers to send you someday. I've sent Plymouth cards to Katharine Young, Mrs. Wills, Aunt Bertha & Grace [Trenenon?] so far. As you can see I started at the [bottom?] end of the book this time. Cards are very, very scarce. I have some Christmas suggestions to offer anyone interested: Cocoa butter in a stick ( could stand several) Tiny plastic clothes pins Dried fruit Bonfire lipstick (Charles of the Ritz) Chenyu Blue Moss nail polish
