fellow as bright should realize and feel so bad about anything happening to some one so far away even if he did know him well. We must be very sympathetic. I suppose he is growing fast and getting to be quite a big boy now. If you noticed the dating of this letter you will see that I am in [Correctionsville?]. I am attending a three week's Institute which is in session there; came a week ago Monday. Prof. Brown holds two Institutes this year, one here and one at Sioux City. There are over a hundred & fifty teachers in attendance. I have a nice boarding place with five other teachers. This week is very warm, and very We have quite a nice S. S. Mrs. Pierce and family come up every Sunday. It is so far too in the heat. I think it is so good of them. Well, I think I've written a letter, covered paper, at least, so I guess I must close with love. Regards to Mr. Jolly and a [*?] for Wright. Write again. With love Your friend Mary Thompson.
