be sure to rite back May 18 Brompton Near [Northalteton?] High End My Dear Neece & nephew and all of you we were glad to here from you but you msut take more time to nite we cannot read your letters I am soory to tell you I have lost my daughter that as allways been with me it was a great shock to us she was not long ill it was a cansor on her stomach the Dr couldent mend her she was sick all the time brandy stopt best with her I am over 90 my birthday was 15 January and I have been poorly ever since I have a son living with me that is not married he as had nothing to do for months my eldest as been poorly and a daughter as well since I lost the other I have a daughter that is likley to loose
