them there. the last rain we had a month ago or little more was as hard a rainstorm as I ever saw it done lots of damage round the country we had the thrashing done then. we have had bad weather lately snowy and icy so that people couldn't pick corn they have picked here at home ever since in Sept. [8ph?] has two carload of steers to feed for Cook and it keeps him moving to tend to them and help pick corn. Jess has done the biggest part of it and is getting tired he wants to get done and go to school we live as near the school house as you did when you lived here. so our children don't have far to go to school we went to town yesterday and took some chickens and ducks we got tired of the ducks and sold them all
