July 25th 1898 Dear Friend I will write in answer to your welcome letter and the photograph which I recvd some time ago the letter is dated May 20th so it isn't so very bad as good as you can expect of me aint it well to tell the truth I have been busy and find enough to do yet for that matter we are all well and hope this will find you all well it is getting very Dry here we had a good rain two weeks ago to day and that was the last
