Feb 16, 1919 Bonnet France My Dear Mother Well I am going to try to write you a few lines this nice rainy day it is Sunday and they sent my buddy off for a weeks school this morning and I am sure lost with out him. I am so darn mad I cant hardly see. one of the Jug heads in the billet came up last night and went to light a candle and spilt tallow all over my new ants and I'll have a hell of a time getting them cleaned up for next Saturdays inspection. I get so darn tired of inspection
