I think they are foolish to bring such questions up now there will be time enough for that when everything is settled. Those dam germans were smart and you have got to give it to them. but when they seen the Americans comeing at them with cold steel they gave up. I sure was glad I spent a few weeks in the Hospital for I got a chance to talk with fellows who had seen real fighting and they sure can tell real stories. One man said that on one front he was, a German spy had got in as a major of our Artillery and was firing into our own men they sent sent him word twice to Increase his range and he told them to go to hell. he was running things at last one of the Sargents
