any hr. of the night or day. and I'll tell you it was no fun running around in the trenches after dark for you were in as much danger from our own men as from the Germans. we only lost one man and he was shot by one of our own men by mistake. Well I started this two or three days ago and dident finish it. I am still in the Hospital but don't know what they are keeping me here for as I am alright now. I was scart for a while about my ears but the ear specialist sure knows his business they got better
