November 3rd 1884 Dear Mary I received your letter last Friday I was very glad to hear from you I should have wrote before but i had to go to Danbuary to day so i thought I would write to you now i hope those few lines will find you well as it leaves me at present I dont think i will be ready to come home the first of December i have been oferd $425 for my right on the 80 i bought last and i think i shall sell if i get that i will have money enough to finish paying for the other 80 and have 450 dollars left if i can get all that is owed me and i think i can by the
