beyond the English place only much much more so. Wil said we might think the shadows were from the trees but not so - they were from the mortgage. I left H. at her apartment at 1, came on home and couldn't get the ball games because of static - so took berries to Mrs. Geo Kosen then canned what was left here - (Helen took 6 1/2 qts) and got 3 1/2 pts sauce. This picking brings my total to 59 1/2 qts so far - some patch! After I got in bed a car drove in and it was Wil & Betty to get our lawn mower. (Ricky brought his own) I tossed the garage keys out your window and visited with them (Schramms - not the keys) a while - They asked about you & sent their love. Got the coat of plaster on the kitchen rugs Thur and they are now down here where they belong. They are a bit blistered. Mrs. Geo Kosen loaned me her mole trap - no luck so far - I took her some berries Friday & that night she brought me a jar of whipping cream. Something I hadn't seen for years - it can't be sold in the stores anymore. Got a white hat at the Judy Shop for 7.50 - ouch! Gretchen dropped in for a cold drink Friday P.M. - She has sold $75.00 worth of strawberries. They sell for 50 & 55 cents per qt over town - none of them as nice as mine either - I'm having a whee of a time growing them away - Sat I again washed the car - its 4th bath this year. Worked in garden as usual till game time - Gretchen brought me a gal. of sour milk and I made some very good cottage cheese. Stopped in at June's to
