leave her her 3/4 angel food (she now gives me the sugar as well as the egg whites) and she showed me the card you sent the girls - She was quite grieved because Nan had folded it to put in her little box and June wanted to frame it. What is the "Oxon" in the Brodtman address you gave me? Mrs B. didn't have it on her letters. She also had White Hall in two words - you had it one - She said Jay had just come to say goodbye - Where is she going? I hope to your unit. Betty says Geo is terribly discouraged about his leg. They haven't operated yet and he is impatient about it. Betty had a wart cut off her finger last week and is going to have her toe cut off as soon as she can. She is working full time another week yet, then it will be half time through July - then she is through and will be a homebody again. I packed box 55 today - Found gingerbread mix for the first time in ages so put in a box for Madame, if you want to send it to her. (It is raining). I visited over the back fence with the Davises tonight - She went to the Hospital last week but the baby refused to come so they sent her home again to wait. Must go close windows to till the shower is over, Love to you Mother Monday 8 a.m. A nice day & I am washing.
