it like Marmalade of Quince. (Mrs E [illegible]) For those who are weak and thirsty Boil dandelion in [poset?] and drink it after. It will quench thirst and and nourish declining constitutions. (Mrs E [Ushicke?) For the Gout or Seiatica Take of the [?fied] out of turpentine, three ounces, [spoon?] of wine, an [ounce?] and a half, beat the well together with a spoon add to them five or six drops of the spirit of vitriol, make [illegible] lot and baste the parts affected with it, and you will immediately find ease, and mix four or five times applying [illegible] it with a warm hand, the pain will ease, after that bathe the parts with the oil of [Mallous?] and camomile to [illegible] them, and open the pores. This has given ease when [illegible]
