5 quite the nastiest things I have come across, without any redeeming features. The only humour was quite unintentional. In one of the tales the heroine (married, but not noticeably) is touring N. Africa with her husband, and has fallen in love with a lieutenant at a garrison town. Husband suddenly decides that they must leave at once, heroine realises that she may not have much chance to bid adieu to her pet, as that gentleman is on duty, in barracks.
