May 16, 1945 Helen dear, I'm afraid this time you're included in my list. Don't be mad. I was so glad to hear from you - but to answer, well. At the same time, tho, I wrote my usual family letter and you can have the inside dirt even tho it is all about you. You will have to overlook a lot. I don't remember ever feeling as emotional as when I wrote. May be it doesn't even show, May be I shouldn't have mentioned it. Anyway, when they said you could talk now (S&S) about the E.T.O. and experiences, I did. Tell me more, kid. Your hours sound like heaven to me, in fact, I'd like to be with you (second choice!).
