Pat out 1/2" thick & cut Bake in hot 400 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes 1/2 cup grated cheese may be added to dough Muffins 2 1/4 cup flour 4 tsp. powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 egg 1 cup milk 3 tbs. melted shortening Sift dry ingredients Beat egg until frothy add milk & shortening mix together with dry ingredients rapidly bake increasing muffins in 25 minutes. hot - 400 degree oven.
