Had a nice letter from Aunt Jennie yesterday and one from Bob which was over a month in reaching me. He was in England when it was written. Must go to the post office this afternoon for Im using my last stamp on this letter. Its quite a ways over there too but the walk will do me good. That clipping you sent about the fellow getting discharged agrees with what I think to the letter especially what he said about airplanes. We have good drinking water here it is rather soft and a bit flat but at the mess halls there are coolers so it tastes good. The field isnt wet at all the soil is very coarse and porous so that after a heavy rain there are no puddles. Also it is well drained, ditches and canals everywhere. Surprised at the few mosquitoes, scarcely ever see one. Will close with this - Love Johnny
