is clear over on the far side of the field. Saw some power mowers in us yesterday that are quite gadgets, have a small one cylinder engine which runs a regular little sickle cutting about a three & a half foot swath. This way they work on any grass no matter how tall it is and get all the tall weeds etc. of course they dont cut very close like a regular mower but for rough work on large areas they're just the same. The eleven oclock whistle just blew and one of the local dogs is making a great howling and disturbance dont know whether he objects or if he's just adding his bit. We eat noon chow from eleven thirty till one dont know why the whistle is at eleven instead of twelve. One of the fellows got up early this morning to go to the dentist. After going to the orderly room & getting his name on the sick book walking over to the dispensary and waiting for two hours for his turn to come up he was told the dentist didnt work Sundays. He was sure burned up and I dont blame him. Love Johnny
