Sounds as tho you are enjoying some regular Trinidad weather, should do wonders with that lagging corn crop tho. I'll bet everyone is getting anxious and the more pessimistic ones saying it hasnt a chance etc. Will mean a lot tho to have it mature for the world needs lots of food. Old Iowa seldom goes back on a fellow so it may work out okay yet. The barracks is quite deserted tonight most everyone has gone to the show "Thirty Seconds over Tokyo", dont care much for airplanes nor war pictures so I'm writing & reading this evening. Just got up and killed a cockroach which this place is over run with, make quite a satisfactory pop when I step on 'em. Washed out four pairs of shorts, this evening when I came from work the sun was out bright for an hour or so and it pretty well dried them by tomorrow afternoon I should be able to put them away. I find my book quite interesting with some worthwhile hints, most of the stuff I already knew but its good to read. I never think of Bob Ostrander without thinking about Perry Johnson saying he mixed his paint with gasoline and how insulted Bob was. I'll bet the office is pretty in its new shade of paint. Never did like that dark brown very well. Am putting in some more snap shots couple at the botanical gardens. U.S.O. & the rest gooks celebrating.
