Tonight I am revelling in my first opportunity in a week to remain comfortably in quarters.  I have been gadding about town in off hours for a week.  First, Dave Hinshaw, of New York came along, and I entertained him while he told me how he is garnering in thousands.  Then came Hy.  He arrived Thursday, and we did the cafe's and the Radisson Roof and the theaters in successive evenings.  He was out here one evening.  I sought to satisfy his inquiries about you by reading parts of your letter to him.  Afterwards I was sorry I did.
