photographer. I hate photo galleries where one has to stare into a d___ one-eyed camera and try to look his silly best. I think I'll induce the camp photographer to snap me sometime when I'm acting natural, and send you an enlarged copy. Please don't wait, though, to send your new edition. I want it in a hurry to cheer my bad moments. Your prank on the guard was clever. It reminds me of what happened to Amos the other night. The guard here is getting pretty strict about letting folks into the Fort at night. Well, Amos was coming in about midnight and had almost reached the club when a sentry cried "Halt!" Amos peered into the darkness, saw nothing, and started on. Then the sentry appeared right before him crying "Halt!" with a lot of meaning. "Am yo'all speakin' to me, suh?"
