Wha's this heah stuff about Potafire and the chari-ott of flame. Ah'm listening. I'll judge by it whether I dare tell the one about the cure' and the sacristan. My fren' didn't come up last week-end as he had planned to do. But I fell heir to a Des Moines girl who had accompanied another Des Moines girl on an expedition up here to see a fellow whom I know very well. Rather involved statement, I guess, but you will gather the idea. We put on a very complete party for the girls that included dinner at the Radisson saturday night, Orpheum, Hawaiian room, and a taxi joyride, concert Sunday afternoon, dinner at the Rogers, and "So Long Letty" -- Metropolitan. They vowed they had a good time. As a consequence of that lil' celebration and the proximity of pay-day, I'm behaving fairly decently this week-end. I did go to a Sixth Company dance at the Leamington last night. I had heard so much
