but I am a wreck today. I've not eaten or slept for four days. I can write you later I hope. We are awfully busy preparing for the big game Thanksgiving, and being Patroness takes up lots of time. The Senior reception comes on Tuesday week and I've begun plans for it, of course. I went to smash right after the thing was over last night, and consequently couldn't hear all the nice things people had to say. I sure had them stepping around for about ten minutes. Con dear, be a nice boy and write to me. I'm "just perfectly furiously" tired out. (I suppose you've read Bunker Bean?). I never felt so wobbly before, and I am again in need of a helegant uniformed shoulder to weep on. But I remember you don't know me in this mood. I leave off hastily. Ever so much -- Daphne over/
