Dearest, I can say nothing of the news that you are going.  Indeed there is nothing to say.  I hope that any doubts you may feel regarding the love I have for you, may be set aside by the fact that I am coming to you. Immediately upon receipt of your wire I decided, but I couldn't wire because I didn't want any one here to know, and I couldn't leave my work to go to town.  I hope that you will realize that it is only you whom I care to see.  If I could be with you longer it would be different but we are supposed to have only two weeks vacation.  If it is your wish that I marry you now, nothing could make me happier - save that I might keep you with me always.  But I'm not even telling Ruby. Trix and Mama are the only ones who will know, so be careful how you word any messages you may send.
