I can't see why they ought not to have a good looking decoration for the society pages for once; so I want to be prepared to supply them. Can you get the photographer there to make three or four prints in black and white of that good photograph of Daphne and send them and the bill to me right soon? I don't want to finish without telling you again that I am forever grateful for your kindness to me. It was supremely generous of you to let me come into the family, and to rush half-way across the continent and back to show your good will. You shall never be sorry if I can help it.
