on to the end of time I should know nothing but misfortune, I should remember the Heaven I spent with you, Dearest Heart, and I'd be content. I never dreamed of such happiness and I know it is just beginning for us, in spite of this heartbreaking little parting. Dearest, I know our love is just gradually unfolding and will grow more & more wonderful every day that we are together. As I write, a thousand wonderful memories come to me. I remember different expressions on your face that I love to see there. I long to feel your breath against my cheek - your lips to mine - oh Sweetheart, those wonderful kisses! I burn when I think of them. Love is such a wonderful thing - a holy thing, Sweetheart, and it has come to me all at once. The suddenness is overpowering!! You are so good to me, darling. Can I ever deserve it?
