bit. The youngster's part was in pictures, which I wasn't able to interpret fully but enjoyed nevertheless. Most of the stuff was of the same nature as the sentiments expressed in earlier letters. They were thinking of us, wishing we could be with them, and congratulating us on our happiness. The brother-in-law wrote rather well some encouraging observations which I would quote to you except for the fact that the letter is locked up in my room. So is your letter, but I could almost repeat its contents,- and I've only read it once at that. You see how your thoughts burn themselves into my memory.-- I wrote to the Sanborns today,
