Jan. 15, 1918 My Husband,-- I have just sent a letter to France and I hope it will beat you across and be waiting for you. Most of all I keep hoping that the war will end before you leave but I suppose I may as well hope for the hand of the Kaiser in Marriage. Yes -- his hand would be quite sufficient, thanks. I don't know what to do with those pictures you were foolish enough to want for the papers, but I suppose you'll remember to tell me. You have remembered
