for the ecstasy of the kiss that will seal our reunion. The letter you wrote last Friday night reached me today. It is the only letter that has been forwarded to me from the War College. I delight unrestrained in its arrival. All your letters have been wonderful, honey,-- every one of them. It has been heaven to get them. But this letter is best of all. I have never read in anything an expression of love so passionate, so real, so well phrased, so thrilling. I haven't been able to think of anything else since your letter came. My heart leaps to every burning word. Oh, dearest, you make your hubby deliriously happy. To know that you love me that way -- what more under the golden sun could I wish in life? You are beautiful and sweet, brave and true. I part for the field of honor immensely proud to go in defense of my wife and my home to be. Not for a moment shall I be otherwise than the loyal husband and soldier you want me to be in the battle "over there." Everything that is good in man I pledge to Uncle Sam and you. Nay, you need fear not. "It will never be less." I can never love you less
