Headquarters Ninety-Second Division Camp Funston, Kansas Jany 23. 1918 My dear Reynolds: your interesting letter was received a few days ago, and thoroughly enjoyed by St. Louis and myself. First allow me to congratulate the lucky Mrs. Reynolds and the wise Conger R. on the Santa Claus visitation on Christmas day. May an overflowing measure of life's choicest blessings be showered upon you and may you be spared to one another until the end of the journey. Your highly commendable act adds another good reason to the many I have given brother St. Louis along matrimonial lines, so do not be surprised if you hear that he has followed your lead. Your experience there has certainly been valuable in whatever branch of the service you may finally enter. We are all hoping that the order to embark may also reach us here. I arrived here Dec. 8 and at once took on the work,-- morning reports, returns, Muster Rolls &c, and getting personnel details called for by the A. G. Dept. Then Lt. St. Louis came Dec. 12 and he has been on same work. We should have had another officer in your place
