Just before we sailed, an officer from the censor's office came aboard and told us how our mail would be handled. I tried to dash off the main details in a letter to you written in the few minutes before the ship pulled away. Lest I may not have done the job well, let me explain again. Mail should be addressed to me as follows: Lieut. Conger Reynolds, A.G. Dept., N.A., Unassigned, American Expeditionary Forces.
