Dear, a friend of mine -- one Captain Nilam -- is going to make an effort to look you up if it is in any way possible. He and Trix are very dear friends and I think he is a splendid chap. He is a son-in-law of Mrs. Stockard, but his wife has been dead for several years. I keep a strict watch upon Trixie's fourth finger. I told you in another letter which will perhaps never reach you, that I heard from A. C. Gustafson. It is odd that you two are friends. I have saved the letter for you, as I am saving
