1-28-17 [Note: Year should be 1918] My dearest,-- This is the third letter I've written you since I heard from you thru the censor. I shall number the one I send next to your "official" address as the third, however, so we won't count this one. I'm not at all sure how soon you will be able to see these friends, but I hope I figured out a coherent sentence on the envelope so they'll be sure the letter is to be held.
