quite a number of pretty towells -- some guest towells & others Turkish. Frank is making me something but I've not seen it yet. Naomi is making sheets and pillow cases with tatting on them, for us. They are mighty nice. Lillian Blackburn made me three lovely dress scarves. (Is that plural correct?) She does exquisite work. You must see them to appreciate them. Ed wrote a very nice letter to me but the ones to Mama are terrible. He wishes us all kinds of joy and sent congratulations to you. He begged us to keep what he sent me -- a fine woolen steamer rug -- and I think I shall unless you object because it would look small to return it after the letter he wrote. His mother wrote also. She is fine -- that woman. If you are going to remain in Wash. a while I am going to send you a cake, so let me know at once. I want you to have one just like my birthday cake. It sure was good. Where shall I send it? Now dearest, I have my class in History so I must leave you. I love you and I want you, and best of all, I belong to you and you to me. My regards to Dubinney, if he is still in Washington. And a thousand kisses from Your Wife !!! thrills [with drawings of wavy lines and stars]
