Daisville, Ogal County, illinois September 10th 1846 Dear children / I take up my pen once More to inform you that wee are all well at present and hoping theas few lines will find you in the same state of health. I must inform you that wee are now a living on our own farm two weaks last tuesday my farm lies on lafiat grove I will inform you that wee are now a bilding a house wee think wee can put it under ruff and finish one Room this fall so that wee can move in it and wee will finish the Remier part of the house this winter I want to bild the house to my spring about three quarters of a mile from ware wee now live I must inform you that I like this part of the world better than I did ohio This is a poor part of the world by chance you will get one crop out of six or seven So your labor is all lost, it is poor ohio indead, you Rote to me about the Sale note if thay will not pay you sue them all as quick as you can and make them pay you all, in gold and silver theas are my orders for you to do as quick as you can or posebl for you to do.
