if they are then on any hard march but if only common marching I think I can stand it by that time. I have not heard from the regt. since I wrote you before but there is a rumor here that Buffalo is going to try to fill it up with nine months men but I dont think they can make that work nor do I think the Colonel would accept them and the men never would stand it and nearly all here in the hospitals say they will rather desert then serve in it if so filled up. I hope they will give up the plan in Buffalo and let us alone for I think they have injured our regiment enough already and can
