since I have been here, a little show once, the air has been cold but sunshiny Isaac hired 2 girls before I got here one was the dining room girl that had been here some time the other is an old girl or a Jr Widow, but we have not been able to clean house any for want of water, though the house needs it very bad indeed and I am dreading the job it looks so hard, and one girl only stays a week longer Alice is getting quite handy waiting on the table, and doing Chamber work, I do the Baking and I get pretty tired every day. I have been to Church, and that is all I been in the Streets, I want to get a long with one girl if can after I get straight I shall be very glad when I get the goods as I need them so much the Boys took some bedding and some I borrowed but they are very dirty and unfit for travellers, we think this a very dirty black country the dirt. black and
