the Coal is black and makes a great deal of black dust and then the hard water but than we expect we shall have some rain ere long, I guess we should have like to have borrowed a few pailsfull out of your cistern, but the girls have come from the Concert, full of fun So I shall have to stop so good night

Good morning I am feeling quite unwell this morn so I sit down to finish my letter  The House is pretty convenient the front door opens into a Hall the Sitting room on the right the Bar room on the left and the stairs leading above where there is another Hall surrounded by 8 sleeping rooms the partition take out on one side and forms the Ball room, below is dining room, Kitchen, Bedroom recess, Buttery and pretty good Cellar and a Temporary Woodshed that wants pulling down and building over into a Summer Cook room, provisions are all high Isaac bought some real good potatoes yest at 70¢ per Bu
