tells me how deep in your heart your love of me is. Don't hesitate to tell me the hard side as well as the pleasant. We'll be just as happy sharing our troubles as trying to camoufage them for each other. I don't mind admitting that I'd gladly give up all the adventure there is in this experience to get back to you. If I was on a mission of my own I'd quit and go home - if I couldn't bring you over. But in Uncle Sam's service we don't quit, and I'm for sticking with a stout heart in spite of the heart-ache it costs. I was delighted to get the "mites" from Mary Frances Pritchett and Blanch Austin. Tell Mary Frances that if she's the red-headed baby of the family I'm certainly for her. One of my best pals (Norris) is of the same complexion where his hat sits.
