I'm so glad to note what you say about the morals of the American soldiers in France -- not that I have ever doubted it for a moment, but I heard a minister here in N__ talk to a bunch out at Camp Clark last autumn, who said, "I come to talk to you as man to man, not as man to a bunch of licentious animals - as some ministers regard you." well you can imagine there were groans and hisses went up from that sea of tired, wind and sun browned bunch of humanity.
