Only God could create such beauty - only man would destroy it,
Washington is not so poor that it cannot afford to keep for the future some of these tracts of virgin forest, some of theses wonderful trees that if you leave them will attract tourists in hundreds of thousands to your borders.
Why have been so slow to realize that natural beauty is a definite asset even if we consider it only as matter of dollars and cents?
