France Jan 7 1945 Dearest: Sunday again the weeks go by fast. received one letter from you and a "time" magazine I like the "time" very much Mail is not very plentiful for anyone now. Received a letter from Ray the other day I think it is the first since I have been in the service. You are right about getting this war over first then thinking about post war projects. the way things have been going lately it may wake up the people that the war is far from being over I am in good health we have the best living quarters since being overseas, we have good chow It is snowing some now and then it is much different
