Germany May 14, 1945 Dearest: I have been away on another trip to Belgium and Luxemburg it is quite a few miles and took 5 days was in Bastone where there was heavy fighting during the bulge The war being over here dont effect us much here. I don't have much hope of comming home very soon I dont have enough points We have good summer weather here now, I would much rather be here than in Africa things grow here like at home
