France July 10, 1945 Dearest; I just received 3 of your letters they were all fat ones. the way they read you must not be getting the letters I write I have been telling you just what I have been doing here, work, points, discharge plans, our age, and etc. so I will try to repeat most of the doings We have been close behind the 7th Army all along some times it was pretty hot especially at Sarrbourg. The last camp was Mannheim on the Rine river that is where we were at the finish of the war. I applied for our age discharge just
