Aug 18 Aug 1942 Dearest: - I'm late getting started to write this evening. Three of us went to a show double feature all for 15 cents it lasted 2 1/2 hours. It started to rain a little just as we got back to the barracks now it is raining quite hard now just got back in time We will have another cool night to sleep. They are giving us a lot of schooling on machine guns they are not doing much drilling now mostly classes
