Sept 14 1942 Dearest:- Another day done was hot today little cooler this evening The company went out on tactics this morning I stayed in and did some carpenter work then ate early dinner then went out at noon & watched the guns & equipment while the company came in for dinner they are going to give us a lot of field work now it is quite interesting some experience I wish you would send the exzema salve that
