Dearest, After writing such a fat letter yesterday, I won't get as much said today. There are lots of things I'd like to talk about with you but of weekdays I can't write as long. Besides that, I can't visit so well on paper anyway. I had a nice evening. Virginia Sigmund invited me over for supper. Her mother had fired chicken and made {Rhubarb?} pie. After supper I brought them over to see our flowers and I gave them peony bouquet and and {syringa} bouquet. Then I helped Mrs. Corvin do the dishes while Virginia did the wash in the basement. Then Jay and Mrs. Covin retired upstairs and Virginia and I visited about our {cases}. Jay is such a big boy now. You would not know him for any resemblance to the little blond toddler he used to be. It will be interesting to see if we get money for our {unknown word}. Congress has to give more money before July 1 or else I will have to find some local fund to foot the bill. I read a big article tonight about it in one of our technical magazines. Visited at the engineers office today for a few minutes and with Uncle Elmer. They all are interested in news of you. I'm glad we both
